This jacket is a reproduction of a vintage no–name Type B–3 flight jacket. We carefully copied each detail of an original in our collection, and used a sheepskin with a light fur color (lighter than our production models will have). The sheepskin has two-tone shades of brown, and if you look carefully, you can see when panels are a bit darker or lighter. This was common on earlier jackets in WWII. The russet horsehide is very grainy, and shows edge–wear.

The label is an exact copy of a no–name contract of 42–12690. We chose the no–name contract for the ability to use different combinations of sheepskin finish and horsehide trim color. Seal or redskin sheepskin, and then seal or russet horsehide trim will be available to use, along with different belt color choices.

The belt buckles are exact copies of originals, made with cast iron. The belt leather is cut using a clicker die.

The sheepskin fur is a bit lighter than what we will use for stock jackets, but not outside of the realm of originals (photos make it look lighter than actual color).
