This jacket was built for a customer who is both tall and slender. We built it to the right dimensions based
on the data we were given, but were told that it didn't fit. The jacket is brand new, and is made with a smoother
set of hides than most of our grainier horsehide from Shinki in Japan. The jacket looks great, but it's a bit
tight in the lower torso with John wearing it in the photos below.
The jacket would most likely fit someone well who has a 40" to 41" chest, with a height of about 6'1 to 6'2". An
ideal weight would be about 170-180 pounds. Though the jacket is more slender than originals, it still
cuts a very flattering profile.
All other details about the jacket are stock for a Dubow 27798 in dull russet semi-aniline. The lining, thread,
zipper, and snaps are all correct for this contract. We've even had an original Dubow 27798 with this same
knit color. The knit color, compared with the leather, is best represented by the outdoor photographs.
