We have a recent addition of sheepskin for our Type A-1 jackets, and this hide is beautiful. The hides are light in weight, but of a firm hand. The color is russet, but we can also tint this shade to darker forms of brown.

This particular design is loosely based on Gordon & Ferugson's A-1 contract, but made as if Good Wear Leather would have their own version of it. The design is trim and sharp, but comfortable in the right size. If you're close to John in sizing, this jacket is a little smaller in width compared with what usually makes a test jacket.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'10" to 6'1", with a chest of 41" to 43", and a weight of about 175-195 pounds.
