The jacket is lightly used, about two hours, and the back panel is all that really shows wear (minor wrinkles will flatten out at this point). The horsehide is typical of seal brown used in WWII, chrome tanned, softer than some veg-tanned horsehides, and the finish is semi-aniline. The knits match the leather in color. Some of the 16160 originals were dark brown, though most were russet. The slider and all the snaps are vintage, with the snaps being United-Carr originals made in 1943.
