Fit: this jacket has a very comfortable fit
Leather: seal brown sheepskin with light tan fur
Thread: light OD green
Zipper: reproduction nickel M–42 Talon zipper, and reproduction short Talons in pockets
Size: Large (similar to our size 46)
This jacket is based on an original S. H. Knopf D-1 mechanic's jacket that we have. Each part of the jacket
was carefully copied. The jacket is a test sample, and was made with sheepskin that will show some surface
wear, and horsehide trim using russet semi-aniline Japanese hides. The collar belts are heavier cowhide.
The sheepskin fur is a bit lighter than what we will use for stock jackets, but not outside of the realm
of originals. |
