This jacket is an early Diamond Cafe Racer, a copy of the famous Buco J-100. The jacket is an easy fit, and
is made with Horween black horsehide. This horsehide is chrome tanned, and isn't stiff as some versions of
their horsehide can be. The weight is good, and it's got a classy, slender profile.
Diamond based this pattern on an original Buco J-100, which is a classy and comfortable design. Those
originals are known for having black horsehide and black linings, as this jacket does. The thread is
black, as is the zipper tape, with matching nickel zippers.
The zippers are Waldes copies of Talons. Waldes of Japan make excellent copies of zippers from the 1940s, and
have the correct shape to the parts.
This jacket has been tried on several times, but it's in new condition.
The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'8" to 5'11" with a chest of 39-41", and a weight of about 155-170 pounds.
