This jacket is in new condition, and is a return (will be replaced with a slight change in fit). It has all the standard parts of a Dubow 27798 original, and is just a bit on the short side in the body and sleeve length. The leather is Italian veg-tanned horsehide, the zipper is a Crown, the knits are typical of the Dubow 27798, a very dull shade of purple, and the thread is also common of this Dubow contract, and it looks tan in leather. One of our favorite details is the snaps in the pockets. They're original United-Carr snaps from WWII, of which we have a solid stash.

The hosrehide is from Italy, and it's got a very strong amount of natural grain. This will become more pronounced as the jacket is worn, and we've heard from customers over and over that they love this format of horsehide. It also has a very pleasant smell.

This jacket will ideally fit a person who is 5'6" to 5'9", with a chest circumference of 43-45", and weight of 155-180 pounds.
