This jacket is a test model of a domestic cowhide we have found. The leather has the right weight and feel for vintage WWII A-2 jackets. This one is a combat-clone model, and has aging and sanding, in addition to a light depot re-dye to the finish as seen on many A-2s during WWII.

The jacket is lightly used, and the sanding and buffing of the leather adds to an aged look. We have handled an original Dubow 23379 with nearly identical color, and finish edge wear.

This jacket is one of John's personal samples. The jacket has one of his name tags, and a patch of the 418th Night Fighter squadron. This is an excellent reproduction patch, aged as the jacket is.

The pocket snaps are vintage NOS by United Carr. We have a good collection of these, and they work great.

This jacket will ideally fit a person who is 5'10" to 6'1", with a chest circumference of 42-43", and weight of 180-200 pounds.
