This jacket is a return for sizing. The jacket is a solid copy of an original I. Spiewak & Sons "Golden Fleece" original we've owned, and that one was a 2-tone design made of horsehide. This one is a solid seal brown of Horween horsehide.

This Horween is a little thinner than what most think of with Horween, but it's still very solid and extremely comfortable and not stiff at all. The leather has huge grain, and very subtle color variation of brown between parts of the jacket. It's "1940 in a box."

The lining is a vintage rayon we found back around 2010 or so, and is almost the same color as the original Spiewak jacket's rayon lining. The metal parts are all brass, with a vintage Talon that has a reproduction bottom stopper, and Waldes diamond chest pulls. The inner pocket snap is a vintage United-Carr Segma ball-stud snap.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'11" to 6'2", with a chest of 44" to 45", and a weight of about 190-210 pounds. The jacket is shown with a wearer who is 6 feet tall with a 41.5" chest, and there's extra room for layering in on the torso.
