This jacket was the basis for our Monarch Messenger (we used the name Arcadia previously). It's a solid wearable jacket, and the leather has that worn-in look that's so often desired. The jacket is quite warm, as it has a quilted nylon lining (with a cotton or wool batting, one would assume). the lining is great, and the stitching has aged very well, too. Note that the sleeves are lined with a cotton material, which has some holes at the sleeve ends. The main zipper is a post WWII blakened Talon, the same seen on several military contracts from the end of WWII. The chest zippers are also blackened, and we don't know who made them. One chest zipper, the left side, does not work. The jacket is comfortable, and the sleeves are a tiny bit on the short side, but still look great.
