This is a lightly used Californian Imperial made with Shinki seal brown horsehide. The design is loosely based on original Hercules jackest sold by Sears-Roebuck, from around 1937 to 1942. The design is certainly iconic, and looks great when worn. We have handled on original from the period, and believe that this pattern looks a bit better than the original.

The jacket has been worn for about four hours, and only exhibits a little creasing in the sleeves. The photos show the jacket in its current condition. The horsehide is truly beautiful, and will develop both grain and suble edge-wear over time.
