The jacket is made by a lesser-known maker called Popular Mfg. Co., of New York City. The jacket is in very solid condition, and is wearable, though we suggest this be done in only light use. The jacket is 100% original, and we have not done anything to it. The cotton material is in great condition, with only some light fraying on the sleeve ends, and two light stains as seen in photos below. The zipper works great, and is a very interesting detail of original M-421A jackets, being painted tan on tan cloth. The fit of the jacket would be perfect for someone in the size range of about 5'9" to 5'11", and of a weight of about 170 pounds or so.
