This new russet is a pigment finish horsehide, and it has a pure tone in russet color. This type of

Goatskin: russet brown, vegetable–tanned
Our goatskin is incredible - it looks and feels like goatskin used on many A-2 jackets in
WWII. The shade is a dull russet brown, and the finish will show wear over time. The weight of the leather is between 2.5 ounces.

Our seal brown goatskin is perfect for WWII U.S. Navy jackets, along with several A-2
contracts. The same tannery that makes our russet brown goatskin has produced this wonderful new hide. The thickness
is 1mm, which translates to 2.5 ounces.
This cowhide has tremendous character, and with the oil finish, it will age in a manner similar
to those WWII A-2s with a very well–worn surface...don't be surprised if people think you've been flying for years with
this hide. The weight of this leather is 2 to 3 ounces.
Cowhide: russet brown, vegetable–tanned
This russet cowhide is thick and the surface has huge natural grain. The leather is rather heavy
and the natural grain is stronger in some areas than others. The surface color will slowly wear on the edges to the tan base color, giving a jacket a
fantastic aged look over time. The weight of this leather is 2.5 to 3.5 ounces.
Cowhide: dark russet brown, vegetable–tanned
This cowhide has a strong reddish finish in dark russet, with a tan base. The finish has some oil to it, so
over time, it will age beautifully. The grain is natural and uneven, with some areas very strong. The weight of this leather is 2 to 2.5 ounces.

This seal brown cowhide has a dark yellow-chocolate shade, and there's plenty of natural grain.
The leather will show wear, but the base color is not too light, so it'll have a clean look even with lots of intense wear.
