Good Wear Leather Coat Company offers a number of Type A-2 contract reproductions. We will have more patterns over time as well,
but the seven shown are great choices available now, with solid variation in fit and design from one to the other. Please note the list to
the left with links to each pattern.

Each jacket is made with material seen in jackets made during WWII. Along with excellent leather, we use 100% cotton for our linings, knits
made of wool, and the cuffs have the correct two-weave design. We use 100% cotton thread, and many color variants seen in WWII
jackets are available—an original Aero may have light brown thread, or OD green. We offer both.

Zippers from WWII are available as well. We have a very limited supply of Talons as seen on Type A-2 jackets as well as Conmars. Once
that supply has run out, we will be using excellent Talon reproductions newly made available to Good Wear Leather.

You may choose the leather of your preference for each contract, though we know some contracts from WWII were made only
with one kind of hide. We will, by default, use knits of the proper color for each contract, and some knits will have several choices
for a given contract. Aero made jackets with red or brown knits, and our Good Wear 21996 will have these two choices. Most original
Dubow knits had a slight orange hue, but some didn't, so we'll offer either color.

Once a customer is ready to order a jacket, our page on sizing a jacket will help tremendously to get the correct size.
We will work with you to ensure the body, sleeves, and shoulders are all of the correct dimensions.

Knits:

We have four colors available. They are a mid-brown (common), a more yellow brown frequently seen on Broncos and Donigers,
Dubow reddish-brown, and then Aero's pure red. Please let us know which one you prefer when ordering a jacket.

Vintage WWII Zippers:

We have WWII Talons and WWII Conmars at this point in great working order, literally unused. They're only a limited-supply item and
will run out soon. The Talons are $80, and Conmars are $150.

Thread:

We use 100% cotton thread, and have a good number of colors available. More will be available, soon. Most contracts from WWII
range between a mid-brown to a olive drab color, though some contracts, like Dubow's 27798, often used a very light brown.
